For the last 12 months I have studied and completed an in-depth UK Rural Skills approved equine massage course including the anatomy and physiology of the horse and can proudly call myself an equine massage therapist covering Lincoln and the surrounding areas.

Having a fresh mind and skillset, I am now focusing on building my business around Lincoln where I can have the privilege to meet and treat as many new clients as possible using my knowledge and experience to offer the best possible service I can give.

I am a trusted member of the IAAMB and offer my service throughout the centre of Lincoln, Newark and Grantham. Being based in the centre of Lincolnshire gives me great flexibility during large events should I be required to treat horses at competitions held at Lincoln Showground and Arena UK.

During visits I ensure a full static and dynamic assessment is carried out to understand the horse’s needs, history and behavior before any treatment begins. I find it important to build a relationship with each individual horse to gain their trust before my hands are set to work. Owners who prefer me to watch them ride to highlight problems which may have arisen may do so, I may also ask to see the horse on the lunge if necessary.

Palpation is carried out at the beginning of all treatments; this is where I can get a better understanding of any sore or tense areas the horse may have. Sensitivity and soreness are things I come across often and understanding where any pain may be lying is important to prevent upsetting the horse before I begin my equine massage in Lincoln service. Each treatment I carry out should this be the first or third visit are always bi-lateral, I never treat specific areas without treating the same area the other side.

Following treatments, I also offer aftercare advice, reports should they be requested by a vet or other professional alongside schooling/groundwork plans to enable your horse to benefit from each session and perform their best in-between visits.

I also offer packages where block bookings can be made and discounted, large group discounts and follow up treatments which again can be booked in advance at a reduced rate should extra sessions close together be required.

I cover a 12-mile radius from the centre of Lincoln, other areas may be considered upon request should there be a group booking in which a small deposit may be taken.
